Did you know that 80% will be a parent in some point in life?  That's 8 in 10 men. However, marriage is no longer the end result.  Your background weighs heavily on how marriage is viewed…( a binding contract, an agreement, a biblical tradition)

The percentage of Dads thought to marry the mom at the time of birth is 80%.  The percentage that actually do marry the mom is only 9%!

Whether in a  "Romantic Relationship", or sharing custody only, the bottom line is how can you, the father, remain involved.  There is help out here to aid you in establishing a relationship between you and your child!!!

Did you know that in the state of Texas, if a couple is not married when the child is born, the State only recognizes 1 parent.  You must establish paternity in some way!  It's not just your responsiblity...it's your right!

The JTC X-Change, Inc. has teamed up with the Public Health Dept. of Tarrant County to help address the increase rate of infant mortality in North Texas.  Lack of information as well as education we believe is the No. 1 leading cause.
Beginning this Spring,  JTC X-Change will execute the PILOT Program entitled, " Fathers To Dads", to begin working with our teen fathers through an 8-week program, which is geared to educate our young men with key factors of  information that are crucial to help to raise a healthy child.

Quote from KERA NEWS ARTICLE 2/22/2012

Salyer-Caldwell: " We’re actually starting in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD and Fort Worth ISD those male mentoring programs, looking at them having financial literacy and a vocational plan".

Did you know that Tarrant County has one of the highest rates of babies dying in the first year in all of Texas???

                              A TRIBUTE TO FATHERS

                               Children Need a Daddy

Children need a Daddy, for many, many things: Like holding them high off the ground, where the sunlight sings.
Like being the deep music, that tells them all is right; when they awaken frantic with the terrors of the night.
Like being the great mountain that rises in their hearts; and shows them how they might get home, when all else falls apart.
Like giving them the love that is their sea and air; so diving deep or soaring high, they'll always find him there.
'Nicholas Gordon

Every Day is FATHERS DAY!

We are so proud of YOU!!!
